About
What’s this?
Yamhill.TV is the first internet TV channel dedicated to the people, places and events of Yamhill County, Oregon. Yamhill.TV is not affiliated with McMinnville Community Media (channel 11).
Yamhill.TV was begun in November of 2006 by me, Brendon Connelly. My vision for the site is to serve the citizens of the county by providing entertaining and informative video clips highlighting the people, places and events of Yamhill County. Because Yamhill.TV is an internet “channel” rather than a broadcast channel, the video clips are shorter in length and new episodes are less frequent.
May I contribute?
Yes! Most of the content on the site is created by me, but I do encourage submissions of original video content by readers. Contact me for more info.
How do I use this site?
There are several ways to find out when new videos are posted:
- Visit the site regularly
- Subscribe for email updates (subscription form is up there at the top of the left-hand sidebar)
- Use RSS (if you’re new to RSS, use either Google Reader, or Bloglines)
- Leave comments and participate in discussions (whenever you leave a comment, you’ll have an option to receive further comments on that post via email)
More about Brendon…
I moved to Newberg back in 1979, and attended 6th grade at Edwards Elementary. I also attended Renne Junior High (now a soccer field), as well as Newberg High School. I went to college in San Diego and spent a few years bouncing around before settling back down again in Newberg. More about me at BrendonConnelly.com.
